Eating one sausage a day raises cancer risk by 20 per cent

submitted by equanimity
Thought of juicy sausages water your mouth? Are you thinking of having them for tonight's dinner? Well, think again.

Newest research shows that eating just one sausage a day increases cancer risk by a whopping 20%. And that doesn't necessarily count in all the other processed meats and foods that you consumed throughout the day.

This doesn't surprise me actually. (One of my reasons for going vegetarian!)

Eating meat increases the chance of getting cancer. Eating processed meat increases that chance even more, with all that chemical junk that the food process companies put in to make them delicious.

Sausages, in other words, are trash meat with chemicals.

Good thing I stopped eating sausages. Although I used to love eating them, I knew that they were not the healthiest food all along.
